A & M Publishing Releases ‘Training of American Men’s Dogs’ By L.A. Knight
The new novel laughed out loud, “DOG TRAINING THE AMERICAN MALE” by L.A. Knight, has been described as Lean In Sheryl Sandberg who meets the cute Shades of Gray. The story is centered around Dr. Nancy Beach, a relationship counselor who organizes a local radio show in South Florida called Love’s a Beach. One problem: The teacher relationship does not seem to be able to create his own work relationship, sends his credibility and judgment to the toilet.
Nancy arranged a blind date with Jacob Cope, a victim of Lehman Brothers who lost his job and his pride and became a commander / ventriloquist stand-up. Jacob is a running phobic thesaurus and now he’s dating psychomotor majors … both are compatible with each other or the relationship is a ticking ticking bomb. Their brother does not care. Desperate to get rid of them, Jacob’s brother (gynecologist Vinnie) and lesbian sister Nancy (Lana) encourage young couples to move together. When the honeymoon stage suddenly ends, Lana convinces Jacob to buy a small white foofie dog – a pet that he enjoys as an unsafe child. Being an “ordinary person” Jacob did not listen and went to pound the dog, returning home with Sam – a 120 pound German Shepherd.
Chaos ensues and Nancy flips. But after hiring a dog trainer he has enlightenment – what if the dog trainer technique could be used to ensnare Jacob? It started a wild and fun social experiment that can be recognized by some couples and dog owners.
